This specimen was reared from the same mating that produced the "Golden Birdwings" You will notice the heavy yellow streaks on the fore wings, as well as the very large gold spots on the hind wings. The underside also shows very heavy gold tinting on the hind wings. Only a couple of individual specimens were produced of this unique butterfly.

It was sold a few years ago by The Insect Company, to a German collector.
